I cannot tell you how appreciative and grateful I am to you and Altrusa International of Lake County for your support towards my master's degree in reading. I am finishing my second course and have two A's. Your scholarship is a blessing and an answer to prayer. I have already learned more than I could have imagined. It is overwhelming and exciting at the same time. I cannot wait to implement new reading strategies in the fall; my students will tremendously benefit from the furthering of my education. Since I started my master's degree in reading, I have been inspired to teach reading to Level One Students. I feel that these students need the most help.
