The Language Bank is a project designed by the members of Altrusa International of Lake County in an effort to provide a listing of local volunteers who are willing to serve as translators free of charge for the various languages they speak. The Language Bank is distributed each year to municipalities, libraries, city halls, fire departments, schools, police departments, United Way agencies, EMS, county offices, community colleges, hospitals, and newspapers in the area. A very special thank you is extended to the volunteers listed below. Their talents are invaluable in our diversified culture and make this directory possible by bridging the gap in our language barrier. We would also like to thank The Daily Commercial for providing printing and production of this project.
